Payment Methods


Payment

Our terms of payment are contained in our General Terms & Conditions (GTC) as well as in our return policy. Please also note the following information.

The prices of Goods listed in our Shop and on our websites represent total prices (final prices), and where applicable, including the respective statutory VAT plus shipping costs or other costs. They include all price components. Other costs (e.g. duties, taxes and fees), which you may have to pay to the responsible customs or tax authorities, may arise in the case of cross-border deliveries (e.g. EU VAT on intra-Community acquisitions), in particular customs duties on shipments to non-EU countries.

The respective delivery or shipping costs are not included in the purchase price (final price). They are available via the “Shipping and Delivery” page and they are shown separately during the ordering process, i.e. they are to be borne by you in addition. The shipping options and/or shipping costs may partly depend on the selected payment option, whereas the availability of payment options depends on the billing or delivery address specified in the ordering process. The payment options available to you are automatically displayed when you enter your billing address.

We do not charge you any transaction fees (payment gateway charges) for the use of the payment methods during your purchase. Please note that you may be charged by your credit institution for bank transfers from countries outside SEPA or for bank transfers via business accounts within SEPA as well as for the use of credit cards in a foreign currency.

The payment processing, which is facilitated by a payment service provider (e.g. PayPal, Stripe, Klarna), is always secured by TLS/SSL encryption (https).

Overview of Payment Options

In cooperation with various payment service providers, we offer you the following payment methods, although there is no right to use a particular payment method.

Please transfer the total invoice amount (without deduction) of your order to our bank account (IBAN/BIC). Our bank details will be communicated to you by e-mail in the order confirmation for your order. Unless otherwise agreed, payment of the invoice amount is due within 14 calendar days of the order confirmation being sent by e-mail.

For your own security, please state the order ID of your order in the field for the intended purpose of the bank transfer, which is sent to you by e-mail, e.g. in the order confirmation e-mail, or in the invoice attached to it. Upon receipt of the invoice amount in our provided bank account, we will confirm the receipt of your payment by e-mail, then we will process and ship your order.

Please note that for payments in advance (bank transfer) from a non-EU country (outside of the SEPA countries), you will have to pay the fees for the bank transfer, in particular any exchange rate fees.

PayPal: You can pay quickly and securely with your PayPal account. It’s even faster with PayPal One Touch.

You can use your PayPal account to connect e.g. with your bank account, your EC card or Maestro card, your Visa card, your Mastercard, your American Express card or other debit and credit cards as a source of payment.

By confirming a binding order in the last step of the ordering process, you will be redirected to PayPal to log into your PayPal account and to approve payment of the invoice amount. Simply follow the instructions on the screen. You will then be taken back to our Shop.

Once we receive a payment confirmation by PayPal, we will confirm this to you by e-mail, then process and ship your order.

When you pay via PayPal, you may receive the PayPal Buyer Protection and you may be able to obtain a refund of the return shipping costs (free returns) through PayPal.

PayPal is available in more than 200 countries.

With PayPal Plus you can pay without a PayPal account by credit card (Visa, American Express or Mastercard), by SEPA direct debit (only with a billing or delivery address in Germany) or, if applicable, by purchase on account (only for Consumers with a billing or delivery address in Germany). These are payment options integrated into PayPal Plus.

Once we receive a payment confirmation or a confirmation on the conclusion of a purchase on account by PayPal, we will confirm this to you by e-mail, then process and ship your order.

Together with PayPal (Europe) S.à r.l. et Cie, S.C.A., 22-24 Boulevard Royal, L-2449 Luxembourg (“PayPal”), in addition to SEPA direct debit, credit card and payments via PayPal PLUS as a method of payment for Customers, we also enable purchasing on account for Consumers resident in Germany. As part of an order-related payment transaction processed by the payment service provider PayPal, i.e. by credit card, direct debit or, if applicable, purchase on account or other payment methods integrated into PayPal, we shall transmit your personal payment data in encrypted form to PayPal (Europe) S.à r.l. et Cie, S.C.A., 22-24 Boulevard Royal, L-2449 Luxembourg. PayPal PLUS: pay by credit card without a PayPal account

By credit card: You can pay for your purchase with Visa, American Express or Mastercard without requiring a PayPal account.

To do this, you will be redirected to PayPal following your confirmation of a binding order in the last step of the ordering process (after placing your order), where you complete your payment by credit card. Simply follow the instructions on the screen. Your credit card will then be debited immediately once your credit institution authorizes the transaction. Your credit card details are not saved by us.

For your own security, please note that first time orders by credit card may usually only be delivered to the billing address of the cardholder or to a verifiable office address. Therefore, deliveries to parcel stations or parcel shops in particular are not permitted when you purchase by credit card for the first time.

Please make sure that your billing address matches the address on your credit card statement and that the cardholder’s name matches the name printed on the card. If the delivery address differs from the billing address of the cardholder or if it is not possible to check the address, we will contact you to clarify any questions.

PayPal PLUS: pay by SEPA direct debit without a PayPal account

By SEPA direct debit: You can use the SEPA direct debit procedure (only with a billing or delivery address in Germany) to pay for your purchase without requiring a PayPal account.

To do this, you will be redirected to PayPal following your confirmation of a binding order in the last step of the ordering process (after placing your order), where you complete your payment by direct debit. You will be informed by PayPal about the date of debiting of your bank account by means of the pre-notification. Simply follow the instructions on the screen. The invoice amount of your order will then be debited directly from your bank account and credited to our PayPal account.

When paying by direct debit, you give PayPal a direct debit authorization, i.e. on the basis of the direct debit mandate issued, your bank is instructed to transfer the invoice amount of your order from your specified bank account to PayPal.

PayPal PLUS: pay by purchase on account without a PayPal account

By purchase on account (not yet live): You can pay for your purchase with us by purchase on account (only for Consumers with a billing or delivery address in Germany) without requiring a PayPal account.

To do this, you will be redirected to PayPal following your confirmation of a binding order in the last step of the ordering process (after placing your order), where you complete your payment by purchase on account. Simply follow the instructions on the screen.

In this regard, PayPal reserves the right to conduct a credit score check (credit assessment) based on your details provided regarding your purchase on account. If PayPal rejects your payment for reasons unknown to us, you are welcome to pay the invoice amount of your order with another payment option (e.g. bank transfer, credit card or direct debit).

The purchase on account is not permitted for the purchase of digital content and value vouchers. If you purchase on account with PayPal, you should remove them from the shopping cart or choose another payment option. In addition, the purchase on account with PayPal is limited to a total amount of the shopping cart between 1,50 EUR to 1.500,00 EUR, including VAT if applicable, and the shipping costs.

Please note that the payment for the purchase on account is made directly to PayPal (bank account of PayPal), since we assign our claim (factoring) of the invoice amount with regard to your order to PayPal. This means that if you purchase on account via PayPal PLUS, you may only pay with discharging effect to PayPal. This does not affect our rights or your obligations under the concluded purchase contract (distance contract of sales).

When purchasing on account, you have 14 days from the date of receipt of the invoice from PayPal to pay the invoice, but at the latest when you receive your order.

PayPal provides a list of questions with answers to the purchase on account as well as simplified terms of use in case something should be unclear.

Stripe

You can pay for your purchase with Visa, American Express or Mastercard without requiring a Stripe account.

To do this, enter your credit card details directly into the input mask provided by Stripe during the ordering process (checkout). Your credit card details are not saved by us unless you do so by saving your credit card details in your customer account with us to make shopping easier and faster.

Following your confirmation of a binding order in the last step of the ordering process (after placing your order), your credit card will then be debited immediately once your credit institution authorizes the transaction.

Once we receive a payment confirmation by Stripe, we will confirm this to you by e-mail, then process and ship your order.

Security instructions for credit card payments via Stripe

For your own security, please note that first time orders by credit card may usually only be delivered to the billing address of the cardholder or to a verifiable office address. By using Alipay for payment, you may receive the Alipay Member Protection.

Klarna

Only for Consumers with a billing or delivery address in Austria, Germany or the Netherlands: You can pay for your purchase immediately (by Sofort, credit card or direct debit) without requiring a Klarna account.

Your credit card details are not saved by us. However, you may be able to store your credit card details with Klarna for future purchases.

To complete your payment with Klarna (Pay now), you will be redirected to Klarna following the “checkout” page or your confirmation of a binding order in the last step of the ordering process (after placing your order) or a new window by Klarna (Sofort) opens or you may complete your payment directly within the current window. Your billing or delivery address, if applicable, has to be identical and match your officially registered address. In case of payment by credit card, your credit card will then be debited immediately once your credit institution authorizes the transaction.

In case of immediate payment of the invoice amount (Pay now), Klarna reserves the right to conduct an identity and credit score check (credit assessment) on the basis of your details provided. If Klarna rejects your payment for reasons unknown to us, you are welcome to pay the invoice amount of your order with another payment option (e.g. bank transfer, PayPal or Stripe).

When you pay via Klarna, you may receive the Klarna Buyer Protection.

Once we receive a payment confirmation by Klarna, we will confirm this to you by e-mail, then process and ship your order.

Security instructions for credit card payments via Klarna

Customer account at Klarna

Please note that Klarna automatically creates a customer account for you when you make your first purchase with us using Klarna, which you can access here. With your Klara customer account you can, for example, view your invoices, activate the “1-click” direct debit procedure for outstanding invoices, convert purchase on account into purchase in instalments, extend your payment due date or, if necessary, announce your return shipment.

When you pay via Klarna, you may receive the Klarna Buyer Protection.
